Before international students may be granted an I-20 visa, they are required to provide evidence of independent financial support to cover at least 100% of the cost of attendance for the first year at Georgia Tech. Cost of Attendance includes tuition, room, board and books. The amount that must be verified is set by the Graduate College at Georgia Tech and varies slightly on an annual basis to reflect changes in tuition, room/board and fees. Students are required to provide a notarized bank statement that documents that the funds are registered in the student's name, or in the name of a parent or guardian. No visa can be granted without the documentation of required funds. The current costs of attendance may be found at http://www.bursar.gatech.edu.
